Thanks Curtis for commenting. While I genuinely appreciate you sharing your perspective and experience at the BPT show with us, I would prefer it if you didn't sling personal insults aimed at our reviewers. (Volunteers have feelings too!) I'd love to hear more from you Curtis... have you seen any other shows at the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival? We want to share in your experiences too! :) -Ed Rubina

Oh dear, what a pity that accuracy will spoil the therapeutic quality of a review for the reviewer. She should work on her women's self esteem issues elsewhere.

Speaking as an impartial but critical observer, it was a special night. The applause was warm and heartfelt. At one point there were even cries of "We love you Bill." Bill's remarks between songs created a palpable sense of intimacy, warmth and connection with the audience on the collective trip down memory lane. The one exception appears to be the reviewer who chooses to devote one fifth of her words to the use of the word "slapper" which was actually contributed by an audience member, to the amusement of others, and which Bill tactfully incorporated into his story. Come to think of it, the word itself belongs in the era to which the evening was dedicated. How clever of the audience member! Other than this there were no remarks so "a couple" is just plain wrong.

Bravo Bill!

Good Morning,

Hailed as one of CNN’s top 12 must-see exhibitions, The Art of the
Brick is now coming to Adelaide opening on the 9th of April, 2012 at
the Adelaide Showground, Goyder Pavilion.

In a world-first, New York-based artist Nathan Sawaya uses LEGO®
bricks as the sole art medium for this critically acclaimed exhibition
which features primarily 3-dimensional sculptures and oversized
portraits.

LEGO has never before been synonymous with art but Sawaya’s brick
sculptures are highly technical showing his devotion to scale and
colour, a passion which converts the everyday toy into masterpieces.

As part of the exhibition a Play and Build area has been created where
children big and small can participate in great fun activities
tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The sessions run
for 45 minutes and must be pre-booked when purchasing your tickets at
$10.00 per participant session.

Ticket prices are as follows: Adults - $15.00, Children - $10.00,
Concession - $12.50, Family (4) - $45.00. My Ticketmaster presale
starts at midday on Monday 2 April 2012 and runs until 6pm on Tuesday
3 April 2012. General sale starts at 9am on Wednesday 4 April 2012.
Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.au/artofthebrick.

The exhibition runs daily from 9 April 2012 until 11 June 2012 (except
Anzac Day) at the Adelaide Showground, Goyder Pavilion, open 10am -
5pm.

After school holidays, from 23 April 2012 until 11 June 2012, groups
of 10 or more attending the exhibition on a weekday will pay an entry
fee of just $5 per person (regardless of age).

Please let us know if you would with further details along with some
